Hello from Los Angeles, fellow Jet-Setters!
Allow me to introduce my upcoming trips in what is shaping up to be a whirlwind of a few weeks coming up. The stars aligned in such a way that I managed to book 3 weekend trips back to back, to 3 different continents. The first trip is to Los Angeles, then to Brazil, then to Paris - Whew! Join me on this journey as I review multiple airlines and airports.

Weekend One: North America
"American versus Jetblue"

The first leg of my journey takes me coast to coast in the United States. Starting in New York City, I will be flying to Los Angeles, California, on two different airlines - American Airlines and Jetblue. The purpose of this weekend is to review and compare their Domestic Business class products, as I travel from JFK to LAX. I think everyone knows who the clear winner of this showdown will be (cough-Jetblue-cough) but I wanted to still review their product apples to apples and enjoy yet another journey on American's ageing Transcon, 3-class a321s.
Weekend Two: South America
"Goaling down to Manaus"

From the concrete jungle of New York, I move on to the lush greenery of the Brazilian Amazon. I will be flying to Manaus, Brazil, via Miami on American Airlines, and then continue on to my final destination on Gol Airlines. I will be reviewing Gol's international Premium Economy and the connection process at Miami Airport, along with MIA lounges. On my return journey, I will be taking Avianca's newly launched Manaus route to Bogota El Dorado and review their international economy product. Avianca is an airline I have never flown before so I am definitely excited to experience traveling with them. Here, I will also have the chance to experience the airport lounges in Bogota, before my final flight back to New York City, also on Avianca.
Weekend Three: Europe
"Departure as a king, return as a commoner"

My final weekend trip takes me to the city of Paris, France. This will mark my long overdue return to the city of lights since February 2020, just a few weeks before the world came to halt. This is also going to be a special trip since I am landing in Paris to for my partner's birthday. I will be flying to Charles De Gaulle with American Airlines, via Chicago, and returning to New York on Norse Atlantic's newly launched Paris route. On the way to Paris I will be requesting a business class upgrade - let's see if it gets cleared! Norse is also an airline I've never flown with - which makes sense, since they started operations not so long ago - what also makes me excited to try first hand what it means to fly on a low-cost transatlantic airline. Let's see how it compares to American's economy class.
Conclusion:
Fate, a complete lack of planning and a irrational desire to get away from New York led me to book 3 back-to-back weekend trips that will take me to 3 different companies and leave me with serious sleep deprivation and a fat load of miles. Ready, Jet, Set!
